The Wine:

A unique, memorable character bursts from the glass inviting return visits

The Vineyard, old vines:
Just west of Hopland, a town once renowned for fine hops grown on rich
Russian River silt, the Feliz Creek area is well drained with vineyards
that date back to the 19th century.
This Carignane vineyard has survived every change in the wine trends. The
vines were planted over 100 years ago and offer low yield, solid old
vine character. Maintaining tradition, the vineyard is dry farmed (not
irrigated).
